Dutch rider Fem van Empel took her fifth UCI World Cup victory of the season in Antwerp. Her compatriot Puck Pieterse offered some resistance for half of the race, but the UCI World Cup leader eventually built up an impressive lead.

A fairly technical circuit awaited the riders in Hulst in the Netherlands. Slopes and slippery descents made for an exciting race that was partly decided in the final lap by world champion Tom Pidcock breaking a wheel. Mathieu van der Poel soloed straight to a first win this season after a strong comeback in the field.

The technical circuit in Hulst provided quite a spectacle during the 7th World Cup race. After what promised to be an exciting duel between Pieterse and Van Empel, a crash by Van Empel threw a spanner in the works. This meant Pieterse was able to ride solo to her second World Cup victory in a row.

A strong Michael Vanthourenhout triumphed in the Druivencross after a thrilling race. The European champion and the world champion battled it out for victory in a nail-biting duel.

Puck Pieterse claimed victory in the ‘Mother of all Crosses' in Overijse after an amazing solo. The young Dutch rider from the Alpecin-Deceuninck team set off in a blaze, eventually beating her rivals by more than a minute.

Laurens Sweeck firmly took control of the brand new World Cup in Beekse Bergen. On a fast course, and after some unexpected twists and turns, five riders launched into the final lap. In the end, Sweeck was the strongest, before van der Haar and Vanthourenhout.

It was a thrilling battle between three young Dutch riders in Beekse Bergen. Van Empel, who won the first four rounds of the World Cup, Pieterse and van Anrooij were well matched. In the end, van Anrooij was able to secure the victory, her first one ever in the World Cup.
