On Sunday 28 November, the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup heads to Besançon in France for the very first time. There the riders are expected for the eighth round on one of the most challenging courses of this season.

After Waterloo, Iowa City and Overijse, Iserbyt again dotted the i's and crossed the t's in the seventh round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in Koksijde today. The leader in the rankings finished solo ahead of team-mate Sweeck. Toon Aerts finished in third place.

The sandy course in Koksijde was tailor-made for Annemarie Worst today. On the penultimate lap, the Dutchwoman began an impressive solo dash in the dunes along the Belgian coast. She finished ahead of her compatriots Betsema and world champion Brand.

Dutchman Lars van der Haar, the recently-crowned European World Champion, clearly had the wind beneath his wings in Tabor, Czech Republic. The racer from the Baloise Trek Lions Team pepped up the race with some strong accelerations.

World Champion Lucinda Brand has won her second World Cup race of the season in Tabor, Czech Republic. After an ultimate acceleration in the last lap, she crossed the finish line solo. Puck Pieterse and Annemarie Worst flanked her on the completely Dutch podium.

In a wet and slippery Overijse, the elite men rode their fifth round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup today. After seven exhausting rounds, it was Eli Iserbyt who was able to break away in the final lap and proved himself the strongest in the mother of all crosses, the Druivencross in Overijse.

It was youngsters in power in Overijse, the mother of all crosses. The strong Hungarian Kata Blanka Vas and the Dutch Puck Pieterse played the leading roles in a tough race on the pasture of singer Daan Stuyven.
