World Champion Lucinda Brand has won her second World Cup race of the season in Tabor, Czech Republic. After an ultimate acceleration in the last lap, she crossed the finish line solo. Puck Pieterse and Annemarie Worst flanked her on the completely Dutch podium.

In a wet and slippery Overijse, the elite men rode their fifth round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup today. After seven exhausting rounds, it was Eli Iserbyt who was able to break away in the final lap and proved himself the strongest in the mother of all crosses, the Druivencross in Overijse.

It was youngsters in power in Overijse, the mother of all crosses. The strong Hungarian Kata Blanka Vas and the Dutch Puck Pieterse played the leading roles in a tough race on the pasture of singer Daan Stuyven.

The one attack after another and changing racing conditions made round four in Zonhoven a fascinating one. In the closing laps it was Toon Aerts who took the race. He finished in front of Van der Haar and Iserbyt.

The fourth round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup was tailor-made for Denise Betsema. The Dutch sand specialist took command of the race on lap three. World champion Brand came second, European champion Alvarado third.

An unleashed Eli Iserbyt shredded the competition in the Jingle Cross in Iowa City today on a sun-drenched course. This way he fortified his position in the leader's jersey. Quinten Hermans had mechanical troubles after an error in judgement on the bars, which meant he couldn't get a hold of the leader's jersey today.

The women concluded their American adventure today in Iowa City. Marianne Vos, who would be taking some time off after this race, showed one last time that you should never underestimate a fox. She rode in front the whole race with fewer and fewer riders to finally finish solo.
