Van Empel takes win after exciting final lapAfter a particularly exciting final lap, the 19-year-old Fem van Empel was able to raise her arms in triumph in Val di Sole. Marianne Vos came very close to victory after early mechanical failures and a great race to catch up, but stranded in the second place, ahead of the Canadian Rochette.

Iserbyt takes victory number 4After Waterloo, Iowa City and Overijse, Iserbyt again dotted the i's and crossed the t's in the seventh round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in Koksijde today. The leader in the rankings finished solo ahead of team-mate Sweeck. Toon Aerts finished in third place.
