Fans of Mathieu van der Poel, Tom Pidcock and Wout van Aert can rejoice because The Big Three are ready to take to the field again. Pidcock will be the first to be admired in the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup 2023-2024. The Briton will be at the start for the World Cup race in Namur on Sunday 17 December.

Six days later, on Saturday 23 December, all cyclo-cross eyes will undoubtedly be focused on Antwerpen, because then the Linkeroever will be the backdrop for the very first titanic duel between the three. On their return to the field, Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert get to tackle the sand of Sint-Annastrand.

Antwerpen serves as the opener of a fine series of races because, three days later, the trio head towards Gavere before closing the year in style in Hulst on Saturday 30 December. On 7 January 2024, we will welcome Pidcock and Van der Poel to Zonhoven. Whether Wout van Aert will also be tackling De Kuil with them is not yet certain.

The same also applies to the World Cup round in Benidorm on Sunday 21 January. For Pidcock, the Spanish sun is the last stop on his World Cup journey. Mathieu van der Poel, on the other hand, will be heading to the Netherlands after Benidorm for a home cyclo-cross in Hoogerheide on Sunday 28 January.
