Van Aert, Pidcock and Van der Poel back in the field!

Supporters of Wout van Aert, Tom Pidcock and Mathieu van der Poel will be able to see their favourite riders race again in the weeks to come in the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. While Van Aert and Pidcock will take on the new round in Val di Sole, the Dutch world champion will make his first appearance at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in Rucphen one week later, around Christmas time.

Van Aert and Pidcock will start their World Cup season with the brand new Italian race in Val di Sole. Van der Poel waits a little longer to return to the field. The Dutch world champion will ride his first race a week later on December 18 in Rucphen, where he will immediately meet a warmed-up Pidcock. The day after, the two men will take on each other again in Namur.

Cyclo-cross fans will be excited for December 26th as the three men will plunge into the Dendermonde field together and will meet again shortly after the turn of the year, on January 2nd in Hulst, the Netherlands, for an exciting race. That race will also be Wout van Aert's last one as he prepares for the Belgian cyclo-cross championships.

Pidcock and Van der Poel will finish in Hoogerheide in the Netherlands. For the world champion, the GP Adrie van der Poel is a logical addition to his calendar. In 2020 he was the last rider to put his name on the list of honour. Will he repeat this trick or will he and Pidcock have to give way to the current leader of the general classification, Iserbyt?
