Rucphen

On 18 December, for the first time ever we were treated to a brand-new fast round in the Dutch Rucphen. On a course of just under 3 kilometres, the riders got to deal with 2 stairs, 2 bridges, a sandpit, 2 beams and the well-known carrousel. Marianne Vos and Tom Pidcock showcased their legs and finished first.
Women Elite
No snow or mud in Rucphen in the Netherlands, but a dry and fast course. Marianne Vos was the first to take off into the field while Lucinda Brand following in her tracks. Vos immediately set a high tempo and gaps soon appeared. Only Brand, Van Empel and Pieterse could follow her. Men Elite
An insanely fast lap in Rucphen had an insanely exciting ending. It wasn't until lap 3 that Pidcock was able to keep up with the front-riders, but he was unable to close the gap. It was waiting for the very last lap in which we had a great denouement at the very last passage at the beams and the turning up of the last straight line. Read more?
