Flanders Classics
When you think Flanders Classics, you think the traditional spring classics in Flanders. Since 2010, this Belgian company has organised the prestigious and well-known Tour of Flanders as well as Omloop Nieuwsblad, the opening race of the spring season. Flanders Classics is also involved in the organisation of four other renowned Flemish springtime races: Dwars door Vlaanderen, Gent-Wevelgem, Scheldeprijs and De Brabantse Pijl.
Besides road racing, cyclo-cross has a rich history in Flanders as well. Since 2018, Flanders Classics brings the history of both disciplines together. Since then, the Telenet Superprestige sails under the same flag as the Tour of Flanders. As from the 2020-2021 season, Flanders Classics is also responsible for the organisation of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. This way, cyclo-cross and the road season will seamlessly merge into one another.
